Installation Instructions

Replacing the filter is quick and does not require you to turn off the main water supply.

1. Preparation: Turn off the automatic ice maker.

2. Removal: Push on the face of the current filter to release it, then slide the old cartridge straight out.

3. Insertion: Unpack the new filter and use the alignment guide to slide it gently into the housing.

4. Locking: Push firmly until the cartridge snaps into place (you should hear a distinct click).

5. Flushing: Run the water dispenser for approximately 4 minutes to purge air and any loose carbon fines.

6. Reset: Press and hold the Water Filter Reset button on your refrigerator control panel for 3 seconds until the light turns green.

7. Final Step: Turn the ice maker back on.
